Though andito po ako sa gitnang silangan (riyadh, k.s.a.) labid po akong nalungkot at napaiyak and even until this time I am watching TFC di ko pa maiwasan ang umuiyak. Tita Cory, isa po ako before sa libo-libong tao na nag-ra-rally para mapaalis si Marcos sa Malacanang. From Laguna (were I worked) to Makati, di ko inaalintana ang hirap, pagod, gutom at tunay na ramdam ang aking pinaglalaban ko at pinalalaban nating lahat. Naging tunay na inspirasyon ko kayo kahit ngayon pa pagiging uliran at tunay na Katolico Romano at mabuting lider.

Masakit man po kahit di niyo ako kilala at andito sa malayong lugar, ang aking pong paalam at nawa’y makasama niyo na ang ating Panginoon and ang inyong kabiyak na hero ng ko at hero na bayang Pilipinas si Sen. Ninoy Aquino. Godbless you po kung san man kayo naroon. Lubos na nalulunkot. Mahal na mahal ko po kayo Tita Cory!

Tita Cory

It was no surprise to read about the many people that you’ve touched and ispired. I was still a student at Berkeley in the late 1980s when you paid a visit and inspired thousands of students, mostly Filipinos, to come home and help rebuild the country.

However, I regret I didn’t take the opportunity express my gratitude to you in person on those rare occasions I would see you attend mass at the Two Hearts of Jesus and Mary parish many years ago. I heeded your call several years later and ended up reconnecting with my homeland after 15 years of absence. It was also during this time that I started my family.

I thank you for being my inspiration and I will continue to pray for you.

Mrs Aquino is not only a great leader but also a very supportive and understanding mother. She is always there for her children and i admire her because eventhough she become a widow very early she raised her children well. We are all witnessed on how leads our country. Ma’am, be stronger and courageous for the Lord your God will be with you always. You are a good person, a good President, a good leader and a good mother to the nation.

As a kid, I looked up to your husband and stayed on the street to fight for what he believed in for quite sometime. When you came to be the President, I worked with you in PMS because I believed and I will always will believe in you. You have been my inspiration to serve the people Ninoy believed worth dying for.

I know the pain you are having because I was also hospitalized recently. Sickness brought about by the weariness of the body serving the country and its people. But, do not give up yet, Ma’am. The country is not yet done. We still have to story the evils to be out. We still have to hope that 2010 will make the people we have been serving through the years to fight for themselves now.

I wanna thank you for your sweet inspiration on serving and believing.

Get well soon and always remember that your former staff like me will always be there for you. You might not been seeing us but we keep your fire burning.

We salute a boss who gives inspiration to the idealism of our youth.

May our leaders find a model in you. May the mothers find an example in you. May the next President find virtue in you.

You might not been able to build roads and bridges but you have build our road to a better future and bridge our way to unity as a nation. Your legacy as prepared by PMS showed that no leader in this country had made it possible to the Filipinos but you to get respected by the people of the world. In fact, mirth comes from those who believed they have achieved more than you did.

My dear President Tita Cory,

I was turning 11 years old then when People’s Power Revolution took place. At that very age I participated a lot of rallies, barracades and protest against the long over due dictatorship of Marcos. I shouted for Change and wave the placard i’m holding. I am with my parents then but I know what we were figthing for.

I am among the children in South Cotabato who marched tying yellow ribbons in our head and hands. We shouted for the restoration of democracy and justice for political killings.

I’m proud of Tita Cory since she took the Courage to lead the country and bring back the democracy that once abuse by those in power. For me Tita Cory is one of the Pillars of our Democracy and a good leader. She stands as a woman of courage and real service to our country.

My fellow countrymen, let must be thankful for President Cory Aquino, for without her conviction to bring back democracy maybe we are still in doomed dictatorship and in the perils of exploitation and injustice.

Let us join hand in hand praying for her healing and let the Holy Presence of our dear Lord Jesus will comfort her from pains.

Long Live the Woman leader who stood not only for the voice of the Filipinos but specifically stood for the voice of women and be recognized that we played a vital role in the leadership arena.

God Bless you Tita Cory and let the Healing Hand of our Lord Jesus will give you comfort and freedom from pain. Above all total healing from your illness.
